🔓 Milk Sad Uncovers Weak RNG in Trust Wallet's 2018 iOS App

On 23 January 2024, Milk Sad published a finding: "a core component of the Trust Wallet app for iOS generated new cryptocurrency wallets using unsafe functions in the trezor-crypto library," across two mid-2018 build variants. 481 weak Bitcoin wallets were found (P2PKH, P2SH-P2WPKH, P2WPKH) among over 6,500 weak wallets across all currencies; three major thefts on 12 July 2023 exceeded $1M.
