💥 FTX Files for Bankruptcy

On 11 November 2022 FTX Trading Ltd. and its affiliated companies filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware. The incoming CEO John J. Ray III, who had previously wound down Enron, told the court: "Never in my career have I seen such a complete failure of corporate controls and such a complete absence of trustworthy financial information as occurred here."
