👨‍💻 Base32 Address Format Proposed

On March 20, 2017, Greg Maxwell and Peter Wuille proposed Base32 as a replacement for the outdated Base58 Bitcoin address format. Base32 addresses are more efficient and are used in SegWit transactions.
