🔐 First Stable Version of GnuPG

On September 7, 1999, the first stable release of GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG) – a free encryption suite – was published. GnuPG was developed as a free open-source alternative to PGP, and its 1.0.0 release marked a key milestone in open cryptography tools.
